Ms Pacman brings back those childhood memories

When you were a kid did you beg your parents for quarters to play those old standing arcade games?  I did!  Every time we went to the skating rink I would spend more time playing Ms. Pacman and Mortal Combat than I did on the rink.  Now that I’ve grown up and understand the value of a dollar, I know why my parents would cut me off from playing those games after just a few turns.  Playing those arcade games get real expensive, real fast.

Enter Tornado Terry’s Arcade on Keller Hicks Road.  At Tornado Terry’s you get unlimited play on almost all of their arcade games and you only pay the $12.50 entrance fee.  They have some great games too, from the standard arcade games like Frogger and Centipede to the fancy new arcade games like Fast and the Furious Super Bikes.  They also have pool tables and air hockey for those not into the standard arcade game.

There are a few token games at Tornado Terry’s but it’s a very small percentage.  Each of these pay games produce some sort of prize, from candy to tickets which you can redeem for other prizes.

If you really spent a lot of time playing “Mortal Combat” when you were younger, you’d know it’s spelled “Mortal Kombat”. Tornado Terry’s is awesome! I’ve been visiting since 1995.
